When, I think of the fall season, pumpkins immediately come to mind with their bright orange color, sweet taste, and fun Halloween faces. I’m guessing that’s the same reason why pumpkin themed crafts are such a hit with kids in the fall. Today, I’ve put together a list for you of 10 simple pumpkin activities for kids.

Jack O’ Lantern Resist Painting
Kids love painting, so adding an element of resist painting is the perfect way to make a pumpkin face that can’t be resisted. Check out this craft tutorial by The Pleasantest Thing here on No Twiddle Twaddle:
Knuckle Print Pumpkins
While you have the paint out, why not make a couple of these Knuckle Print Pumpkins by Mom Trusted. These could even be used to make some cool fall homemade wrapping paper.

I admit that I’m partially to kids crafts that look adorable in their kiddy-made state. These Pumpkin Face Puppets by Coffee Cups and Crayons are exactly that. In fact, when my preschooler saw this list of pumpkin activities for kids, he immediately wanted to make the “pumpkin faces” and I admit that I want to make them too!

Pipe-Cleaner Pumpkin Craft
