It has been a crazy couple of weeks for me, so thank you for your patience as my free eBook lists are on hold.
Today, I saw several picture books that looked like they would be worth checking out. I did not have time to read the eBooks today, but I wanted to share them while they are still free (remember to always check the prices before downloading). You will find:
- Halloween and fall themed picture books
- Two picture books in the Self-Esteem and Self-Respect series that I listed several months ago.
- The Bewitching of Alison Albright by Alan Davidson – this middle-grade novel is an older reprint. I have read this book and I thought it was wonderful. The moral lessons about contentment and not being absorbed with oneself are rare themes in middle-grade literature. The story is excellent and entertaining as well.
- A set of early readers by Cindy Bracken (previously listed).
You can find my list on Amazon: Free EBooks for Kids
Again, thanks for your patience and for all the new readers who are following despite the break over October.

I just finished reading the Bewitching of Alison Allbright and my daughter is just over halfway done! We will be reviewing it within the next couple of weeks. It was quite good!
So glad that you read it, Renee. I really enjoyed reading it a while ago. So sad to see a book like that out of print, but so happy that technology has made it possible to bring it back. When you publish your review, let me know so I can promote & share with my contact at Straw Hat Publishing. By the way, are you on my kid lit Pinterest boards? I can’t remember, but if you are not, I would love to add you if you are willing to be added!
I am not on your kid lit Pinterest boards, but I would love to be added. Do you need something from me to do that? Just let me know. My daughter and I are now both finished Alison Allbright. I’ll let you know when the review goes up! Thanks Bethany!
Thanks, Renee. I just need your Pinterest url, so that I can add you. I’m looking forward to seeing your review of Alison Allbright!
