Today, I am combining my free kids’ eBook list and weekly link-up The Children’s Bookshelf.
Update: I’ve been on a short break since the beginning of October to work on blog maintenance and catch up on some writing. Since being on the break, I’ve realized that to promise a daily commitment of Monday – Saturday lists is more than I can handle at this point by myself. So, instead I’m going to commit to writing as many free eBook lists as I can with the best quality that I can manage within my time frame each morning (I get up early and try to finish the lists before my children are up). In other words, I will still be writing almost daily lists, but if my kids are sick or other responsibilities come up I will skip the list that day. I will not be writing as many Saturday lists either as I need that day to catch up on rest.
I also have decided to focus more on picture books rather than novels. I will still include a list of novels that look promising, but I won’t be writing comments on them. Since I don’t have time to read the novels, my comments were just a summary of the reviews and were really unnecessary. Of course, if I’m familiar with a book or notice a highly popular novel on the list I will still point it out!
I know that most of my readers prefer the daily lists, so making that happen is still my end goal. I would be open to adding a co-blogger too to make that happen (You can contact me at notwiddletwaddle@gmail.com if interested). Thanks for understanding.
The good news is my lists should be pretty much back to normal at this point!
You can find today’s lists of free kids’ eBooks on Amazon:
Free Kindle Picture Books: Today’s list includes three “hidden picture” books as well as several story books. You will also find several Halloween themed books (none of which are very scary).
