Note: If you are visiting No Twiddle Twaddle for the first time, I normally post a Mon – Sat list of free kids’ eBooks via Amazon Listamania each day. I read through the available books and weed out the books with grammar and formatting issues as well as write a short review for the books on my list.
This week due to additional family responsibilities & blogging maintenance needs, I am not writing lists. I am planning on going through a complete blog redesign in November, so my lists may not be everyday in October, but I will still be sharing the best books on a regular basis. In November, my lists will pick back up to their previous frequency!
I know I’m on a scheduled blog maintenance break, but Tuesdays tend to be such great days for free kids’ eBooks that I couldn’t resist looking for a couple books for you. I didn’t read through these books, but if you are familiar with my lists, I’m sure you will recognize some favorite authors and publishers!
You can find my list inside this Amazon widget:
If you are new take a minute to read through this necessary information about my lists:
- Don’t forget to check prices before downloading.
- You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
- This list only reflects my personal opinion.
- This blog uses affiliate Amazon links.
- If you want to read all about how I find these books, create these lists, and choose what to feature, read my FAQ on Finding Free EBooks.

where is the list??
It’s inside the Amazon widget. I’m sorry that it was confusing. I had done the list inside an Amazon widget before, but it has been a looong time.
I have been in love with your free book lists for a few months now and look forward to them everyday. I also appreciate that you are taking time for you and your family this week. However, I did not like the list in the Amazon widget. It was not nearly as fast and user friendly as your regular posts. I’m hoping that is something you did today to save yourself time on your week of R&R and not something you are planning on using regualarly. Thanks so much for making reading so much more accessible for my kids while we are on the go!!!
Thanks for the feedback and the kid comments, it was mainly to save time that I put it in the Amazon widget this morning, as it is a lot faster for me to write the lists that way. I normally spend several hours putting together a list, so today was just a quick “here’s some books.”
I had complaints about the widget format before which is why I normally write the Listamania lists. At this point, I’m not planning to switch the list over to a widget format on a regular basis.
I like the widget. It is so easy to use! Glad you are getting time for you family.
Hi, I found you through True Aim and I love your blog. Your genuine love of learning shines through in your writing. Thanks for the leads on free ebooks. If you are ever interested in writing a guest post on anything literature/imagination based send me an email. Good luck building your niche and I will follow you.
The amazon widget doesn’t work on all browsers/OS. on linux and chrome i dont see any widget. plain lists are better. thanks.
I missed a few, but downloaded a bunch! Thank you for this awesome resource. Would it be too much work to put a photo of each book with a direct link to the download page, or to keep it simple just text links? The widget worked for me, but it might be easier for others that way.
Thanks for the feedback. Text links actually are quite a bit more work, and I just don’t have the extra time. I plan to go back to doing the Listmania lists like normal next time I do a list. This set of books was just a little “extra” during a week that is quite crazy for me personally. I’m sorry though that the widget didn’t work well for everyone.
