Free EBook List for Kids

Wow! Today, lots of free kids’ eBooks are available, and I did my best to find the best ones for you. Due to the large amount of books, I did have to race through making my list so please excuse any mistakes!

If you enjoyed Snowy White World or I’ll Follow the Moon, on previous lists, be sure to download today Gwynne, Fair and Shining by the same author Stephanie Lisa Tara. The illustrations are quite lovely in this professionally published book. The formatting is also quite nice on the Kindle Fire. (Note: I did think that the book was a little difficult to understand.)

Stephanie Lisa Tara does have a website if you would like to check it out. Beware though if you are reading at work, because it does have music!

If you have elementary age children that you are collecting the Robert Elmer books for, you will find a new book in the Adventures Down Under series, Firestorm at Kookaburra Station.

I can’t figure out any system to the random releasing of his books, but it looks like if you are patient enough you should be able to collect all his books eventually.

As far as the rest of the books, you will find two lists on Amazon today:

Free Digital Picture Books for Kids

Free Novels and Chapter EBooks for Kids

If you are new, take a minute to read through this necessary information about my lists:

  • Don’t forget to check prices before downloading.
  • You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
  • This list only reflects my personal opinion.
  • This blog uses affiliate Amazon links.
  • If you want to read all about how I find these books, create these lists, and choose what to feature, read my FAQ on Finding Free EBooks.

One last note for Facebook followers: You may be aware that Facebook has made an algorithm that basically penalizes page owners who are unable to pay advertising fees by minimizing the reach of their pages. No Twiddle Twaddle has not been affected as severely as some larger blogs, but I’ve noticed that my reach actually is decreasing rather than increasing the larger than I grow. The algorithm also changes randomly making it difficult for me to maximize my reach. Now, Facebook is penalizing the sharing of photos. Already, the sharing of links is penalized. On top of this, some users who interact with my page might see multiple entries from my page in a row in their newsfeed causing them to unsubscribe.

I do value my Facebook community for the level of interaction that it provides. The only solution that I can think of to combat this problem is to create a Facebook group in addition to the page, where those who want to follow No Twiddle Twaddle have more ability to personally control their notification level. In groups, you can choose to have notifications emailed to you, show up on Facebook, or even not appear at all. Would a Facebook group be an option that you would be interested in?
