Today’s list of free kids’ eBooks is very simple. You will find two picture books that are new to my lists, one of which reminded me of Mo Willems (definitely a compliment). I also listed several eBooks that some of my newer readers may enjoy checking out.
The Curious Bunny by Marcus Emerson and illustrated by Nathaniel Walker
Walker’s expressive illustrations are on a white background with minimal text similar to Mo Willem’s Elephant & Piggy series. This picture book also passed the preschooler test (no small feat) with lots of giggles and a request for a second read through from my son. (Note: The eBook does have a crumpled paper background that I think detracts from the simplicity.)
Emerson and Walker also have a second eBook available for free today The Breakdancing Panda. The plot was not as entertaining as The Curious Bunny but the illustrations are fun to look at, and kids should still enjoy it.
