My First Giveaway: Old Bear by Kevin Henkes

I am very excited to be hosting my first giveaway today: a copy of Old Bear by Virtual Book Club’s August author, Kevin Henkes. This picture book is absolutely wonderful. In it, a bear hibernates for the winter. In his dreams, he explores the seasons of the year as a cub with the type of imaginative details that Henkes is known for: blueberries raining from the sky, butterflies made from leaves . . . And, I love the way Henkes ends this book with the old bear waking up to the beautiful spring and wondering if he is still dreaming.

Old Bear is so great that I want this giveaway to be accessible to you, whether you are on Facebook, email, Twitter, or just drop by every now and then to check my page. So, all you have to do is enter your email address via the Rafflecopter widget at the bottom. (Note: Your email address is for contact purposes only.) Even if you don’t have children, this book would make a wonderful gift for the grand kids or for your classroom!

You have to reside in the USA and have a USA address.
You must be over 18.
You must agree to my terms and conditions on my policy page.
The giveaway will begin at 12:01 AM EST, August 21, 2012 and end at August 28, 2012 at 12:01 AM.
I will choose the winner randomly through Rafflecopter.
I will notify the winner by email by Friday, August 31st.
The winner will have 48 hours to respond with a valid USA address. If the winner does not respond in within the 48 hours, I will choose a new winner. (Please keep an eye on your spam folder!)
