Today’s list of free kids’ eBooks really is great, especially for those of you who like to find free children’s novels. On today’s list you will find several time-travel and fantasy novels, two picture books about ladybugs, and a retelling of the Odyssey.
If you are new, take a minute to read through the following:
- Don’t forget to check prices before downloading. These eBooks typically will remain free for only a short period of time.
- You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
- Although, I try to screen as much content as I can, I am not able to fully read each book. This article reflects my opinion only based on what I have seen, so you may want to read additional reviews or skim to be sure these books are appropriate for your family.
- If you want to get these lists while the books are still free, be sure to subscribe via my RSS feed for instant updates. Email subscribers will receive one email a day between 5-7 pm EST.

Some of the best books on today’s list of free books are:
The Bewitching of Alison Allbright by Alan Davidson
Straw Hat Publishers is re-releasing several of their popular titles that were out of print in eBook format. I can hardly wait to read this intriguing novel about a young girl Alison who dreams of riches solving her problems with friends to find her dreams fulfilled through a mysterious stranger Mrs. Considine who wants Alison to pretend that she is Mrs. Considine’s deceased child. (Note: This book does not include witchcraft elements.)
Noggle Stones: The Goblin’s Apprentice by Wil Radcliffe
Wil Radcliffe noticed that a reader had commented that she missed this book earlier this week, and he set up another promotion so that she could get it. Wil seems like such a nice guy, I decided to feature his book today to make sure no one else misses out. I haven’t had a chance to read Radcliffe’s novels, but he has a number of high reviews on Amazon from people who love his books.
By the way, I checked out Wil’s Noggle Stones blog, and he even has a role-playing game to go with his books. Now that is pretty cool. I have to admit that I am somewhat of a board/card game fanatic, so a book plus game combo sounds like a winner deal to me.
