Today’s list of kids’ free eBooks has a nice variety of books on all levels and about different topics. Several of the books have excellent illustrations as well.
If you are new, take a minute to read through the following:

- You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.

Into the Flames by Robert Elmer
This book is the second from this series that I have seen appear on my list. Robert Elmer’s books get consistent high reviews and look like books that most middle-grade children would enjoy reading.
Catch that Collie!!! by Tarrin P. Lupo
This illustrated short story is designed to teach children how to care for a pet and has a number of high ratings. The illustrations are frequent and fun to look at.
Pittsbon the Sailboat by M. Phillip Roth
I think that the story in this cute picture book would be a little difficult for a young child to follow, but the plot about a sailboat lost at sea learning one by one the skills that he needs to get back home from his friends is unique. The illustrations are fun to look at as well.

Thank you for the list. I am throwing a sailboat themed birthday for my sons first birthday and always like to refer back to a book. Besides this book do you have any other recomendations? Something with nice illustrations? Thank you.
Great question! When do you need to have the book suggestion by? I didn’t have anything that popped into my head right away (other than the book where Curious George makes the little sailboats and floats them in the river) but I found a couple great looking books online. I put them on reserve from my local library, so I should be able to get back with you at the end of the week after I’ve looked at them.
