Today’s list of free eBooks for kids has some fun picture books on it. You will find a bedtime book about animals, several books about moms and dads, and a cute book about a girl who decides that she wants to pretend to be more than just a princess. I also found a new how-to-draw book, a word scramble book, and a couple novels for the older kids.
If you are new, take a minute to read through the following:
- Don’t forget to check prices before downloading. These eBooks typically will remain free for only a short period of time.
- You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
- Although, I try to screen as much content as I can, I am not able to fully read each book. This article reflects my opinion only based on what I have seen, so you may want to read additional reviews or skim to be sure these books are appropriate for your family.
- If you want to get these lists while the books are still free, be sure to subscribe via my RSS feed for instant updates. Email subscribers will receive one email a day between 5-7 pm EST.
- This blog uses affiliate Amazon links.
Some of the best books on today’s list of free books are:
My Dad Is a Superhero by Lily Lexington
In this picture book, a boy explains that his dad has super powers. The boy is sure of this fact, because he has seen it in action. Dad’s will love this celebration of their “x-ray vision” and super stretch powers. {Now where is the book about Mom being a superhero???? I’m pretty sure moms have super stretch powers too.} I’ve feature it before, but you will also find a wonderful book about a child’s imaginary adventures on his dad’s shoulders on my list.
Not Just a Princess by Mary Lee
This picture book is a cute twist on the usual princess themed books for girls. In it, Mia decides that being only a princess gets a little boring so she decides to shake it up a little. The illustrations are very imaginative and fun.
