I’m excited about today’s list of free eBooks. We haven’t had such a great selection of books with picture books, puzzle books, and novels all represented in several days. I even included some novels that didn’t have ratings because the covers and descriptions looked promising.
If you are new, take a minute to read through the following:
- Don’t forget to check prices before downloading. These eBooks typically will remain free for only a short period of time and may not be free for all locations.
-
You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
- Although, I try to screen as much content as I can, I am not able to fully read each book. This article reflects my opinion only based on what I have seen, so you may want to read additional reviews or skim to be sure these books are appropriate for your family.
- If you want to get these lists while the books are still free, be sure to subscribe via my RSS feed for instant updates. Email subscribers will receive one email a day between 5-7 pm EST.

Some of my favorite free eBooks for kids today are:
You already know that I like Cindy Bracken for her colorful, large photos and easy to read text (with no typos!). So, I don’t need to explain why I’m glad to see a new set of free readers available by her today. Some of the books in this set are new to my list too.
Another book in the WWII themed Young Underground series is available today. These books have consistent high ratings. Even though they are being released out of order, I’m hoping that we will see the entire series eventually on my list.
I thought that the photos in this picture book were especially fun to look at, and the text is simple enough for a small child to understand. The eBook also comes with a password that you can use to access a video version of the book on the
Bear Berry Books’ website.
Okay, I know that the words are itty-bitty in this character-building series of books that keeps popping up on my free eBook list, but Feathers at Las Flores in my opinion is worth trying to peer at the screen. This book is a humorous tale of a parrot who learns literally that to repeat everything you hear can get you into trouble. The illustrations are colorful and full of detail.
