We have a wonderful list of free eBooks for kids today, so be sure to check it out quickly while these books are still available. Today, you will find a ton of great picture books including books by some of our favorite authors: Cindy Braken and Dianne Miller. I also noticed a fun spin off of the fable The Tortoise and the Hare, several books about dogs and cats, and a couple picture puzzle books.
Welcome, new readers! Please read the following reminders:
- Don’t forget to check prices before downloading. These eBooks typically will remain free for only a short period of time.
- You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
- Although, I try to screen as much content as I can, I am not able to fully read and screen each book. This article reflects my opinion based on what I have seen. Download and share these books with your children at your own risk.
- If you want to get these lists while the books are still free, be sure to subscribe via my RSS feed for instant updates. Email subscribers will receive one email a day between 5-7 pm EST.

Some of the best picture books available free today:
Rainbow Sprinkles by Dianne Miller
I love what I’ve seen of the Little Bunny series by Dianne Miller. This cute picture book is about a bunny who wants sprinkles on everything. Miller also has a blog full of free printables to go with her books: Little Bunny.
Who said ‘Quack?’ Did you say Quack? by Paula McBride
In this illustrated duck tale, a little duck searches for his lost flock. He keeps hearing “Quack” but can’t find the source of the quacking.
Babies will love this simple picture book about animal sounds.
