I’ll be honest, today lots of eBooks are available for free for kids, and well, most of them are really not that great. I think that you will still be able to find some free eBooks that you will enjoy though. You will find today free all five of the Petal the Owl books as a collection, a picture book teaching kids simple words in Spanish, and a book written by kids for kids.

Jake Bakes Cakes by Gerald Hawksley
In this silly picture book, Jake bakes appropriate cakes for every situation and creature. For instance, he bakes a cheesecake for the mice.
Ben Helps Make Breakfast by Timothy Church
This picture book would make a great tool for introducing new Spanish words to your child.
Smallfish Clover by Heather Shaw
This novel about making right choices has high reviews.
