Yoday’s list of free eBooks for kids is very, very long and a lot of these eBooks are nice. Due to the amount of books, I was not able to read many of the non-fiction books, but I listed them anyway. Today, I am trying out a new format for listing the books as well as listing some books for older kids. If you have any feedback, you are always welcome to leave me a comment or email me at notwiddletwaddle@gmail.com.
New Readers: Don’t forget to check prices before downloading. These eBooks typically will remain free for only a short period of time. Also, you can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad. (For answers to other FAQ, read here.) Why Are Turtles So Crazy Awesome by Mary and Stewart Hill
This non-fiction book about turtles is told in a fun, creative style. The illustrations are cute and the formatting nice.
Timbo to the Rescue by C.A. Marriott
The illustrations in this picture book are wonderful and the story is fun. The length is perfect for preschoolers.

Yesterday, I had a request that I include some free eBooks for older kids, so I’m trying it today. I would love feedback on whether or not adding these books to my lists is useful. I don’t have time to read these books, so use your own judgement and read the reviews to be sure these eBooks are appropriate for your children.
Here are today’s eBooks for older kids that looked promising:

Thank you for posting these lists on pinterest. I have been using them daily, it is so nice of you to do all of the work. I appreciated the list for older kids as I have a few older kids.
Thank you so much. I will try to keep on listing some books for older kids too!
I love having older kid books too! My son is 11 and I would love to get books for him as well as my kindergarten students. The new list is fine but I really liked when you could see all the books in one list.
Thanks, Beth. I really appreciate how you always provide such great feedback. Today’s list was so long that I felt like I had to do something to manage it, but I can definitely go back to one list at least on most days!
Hi Bethany – I want to include you on a post I’m doing called Kindle 101 – getting started with kids. What’s the best way to link to your kindle freebies? I can’t get enough of them! Thanks!
I’ll send you an email, Kristen. Thanks!
