If yesterday’s list of only nine books didn’t have a free eBook that you liked, today you should be in luck. Because, today I have twenty-nine free kids’ eBooks, and several of them are wonderful. My list of today’s free books includes several puzzle books, a number of great picture books, and some promising novels for older children.
Welcome, new readers! Please read the following reminders:
- Don’t forget to check prices before downloading. These eBooks typically will remain free for only a short period of time.
- You can read a Kindle eBook on non-Amazon devices by downloading their free app unto your PC or i-pad.
- Although, I try to screen as much content as I can, I am not able to fully read and screen each book. This article reflects my opinion based on what I have seen. Download and share these books with your children at your own risk.
- If you want to get these lists while the books are still free, be sure to subscribe via my RSS feed for instant updates. Email subscribers will receive one email a day between 5-7 pm EST.
- For answers to other FAQ, read here.
Here are my top free kids’ eBook suggestions for today:
On My Daddy’s Shoulders by Peter Lawson
This picture book will stir your child’s imagination, as they watch a boy daydream of all the adventures he can pretend to have while riding on his dad’s shoulders. The illustrations are wonderful, making this picture book great for even a small child who just enjoys looking at the pictures.
Spot Penny the Penguin and Company: A Hidden Picture Book by Christie Collins
Spot the Differences: A Seek and Spot Picture Book by Christie Collins
I know that you have enjoyed these picture puzzle eBooks for young children, so I wanted to be sure to point out that my list today has two of these books.
Seranfyll by Christina Daley
This fantasy novel about choices and consequences (for children middle grade and older) has a number of high reviews.

On a side note, I am currently working on my post for this week’s Readathon theme: Green Earth. I would love to hear from my readers: What are your favorite books about nature? These books can be about animals, plants, or any type of nature theme. You can comment here or on my Facebook wall (If you are a blogger be sure to leave your blog url, so I can link to you!) I will include first names only.
Tomorrow’s list will be a little bit later in the day, but I still will try to get it up by late afternoon/early evening.
