Encouraging Your Child’s Imagination {while you clean the kitchen}

Saturday, I needed to clean the kitchen, and my little helpers decided to join me. We cooked up a lot of fun . . .

I promise I unplugged the toaster oven!

Cream of Wheat cereal makes great sand, and split peas and lentils make wonderful pebbles for the bottom of the sea. (I’m not really sure why we have a bag of split peas in the cabinet? We don’t seem to eat them, just play with them.)

Yes, that is water in the bottom of the bowl. And yes, she did dump it. But, it was fun while it lasted!

Have you ever searched for eggs in the sink?
